Conventions and ideas

Today my Aice Media teacher spent an hour of class teaching about the conventions and ideas necessary for the magazines and films. We were kind of lost as to where and how we are suppose to start these. Luckily, her speech gave us an idea of the steps to start planning and making them:

Fisrt, we need to be sure about our theme and the subject of the articles. Second, she told us to look up on the internet at least two great and prominent slideshows of magazine rules and conventions. The most advantageous websites I found are "Codes and conventions of a magazine front cover" at Slideshare.net (http://es.slideshare.net/liam-lim-horgan/codes-and-conventions-of-a-magazine-front-cover-11085506?related=1) and "Magazine Front Cover Codes and Conventions" at Prezi.com (https://prezi.com/ssdxz8zweofa/magazine-front-cover-codes-and-conventions/).

Finally, she made an especific reference about the importance of challenging these conventions and codes, clearing out our minds to set up new ideas and designs to create outstanding covers and pages. Originality can be difficult, but not impossible-I'm positive we'll come up with something pleasent and creative.
