Learning the basics

Hi there! I've been kind of bussy for the last two weeks trying to arrange and modify my blog. I redesigned it and now I'm finally starting to caugh up like the rest in my class. Also, I wasn't paying that much attention to this project because I was studying for my ACT exam; but now that I'm done with it, I am ready to go on and keep working on my design for the magazine.

This website called TutsPlus (http://design.tutsplus.com/articles/15-indesign-tutorials-for-magazine-and-layout-design--vector-5456) offers many tuttorials to learn how to design covers, layouts, typing and photos for your magazine. The only problem is that they are all based on an app called Indesign, which I will need to download and pay for if I want good and professional results. Another website that I found is Jayce-O-Yesta (http://jayce-o.blogspot.com/2012/12/stylish-examples-layouts-magazine-design.html) and it has a galery of 30 or more examples of stylish magazine covers and pages. If your interested to know which are the most successful magazines regards design and public attraction, these surely will be for your delight.
